Bluetooth is not a cable

That's the entire fix. It's not a $2,000 new loudspeaker. It's not a new subwoofer. It's 10 minutes of checking before you need it.
Per FTC advertising guidelines (ftc.gov), claims like 500 watts or crystal clear have to be truthful and substantiated. But once the gear is in your hands, the box doesn't matter. What matters is the signal you feed it, the place you put it, and the time you spent testing it.
Your speaker probably wasn't broken. The T-Mobile JBL speaker with a dead battery? Charge it. The large JBL bluetooth speaker that won't pair? Use a cable. The bluetooth box loudspeaker that sounds thin in a big room? It's not a PA. The Harbinger Vari V2308 8" 2-way powered loudspeaker with distortion? Check the gain on the mixer before you blame the driver.
